Recovery Resources is an approved provider of continuing education through the Ohio Counselor, Social Work and Marriage Family Therapist Board for social workers (RSX069001) and counselors (RCX029002), the Ohio Chemical Dependency Board (50-17857) and the National Council on Problem Gambling (06/653). Many trainings are also available for nursing and health education CEUs. Our continuing education program offers credits for the following types of professionals.

Treating Anxiety Disorders

January 27 | 9am - 12:15pm | 3 CEU Hours | Cost $60

Anxiety disorders are some of the most common mental health diagnoses in the United States. With the continued issues related to the COVID pandemic the experience of anxiety is only growing for people from all walks of life. In this training participants will become more familiar with the signs and symptoms of anxiety related disorders as well as effective treatment options for a variety of anxiety related disorders.

Clinical Supervision Series

The clinical supervision series is designed to meet the criteria set out by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board for counselors seeking their supervisory designation. Participating in all four courses will meet the Board’s educational requirement for counselors. A discount is provided for participating in all four courses. However, these are stand alone courses and participation in all four courses is not required. 6 supervision CEU’s will be provided for each course.

Assessment, Evaluation & Remediation: Tools for Effective Clinical Supervision

February 18 | 9am - 4pm | 6 Supervision CEU hours | Cost $100

This training will cover topics of assessment and evaluation of a supervisee's overall knowledge, skills, and self-awareness. The course will include opportunities to practice using formal and informal evaluation tools to aid the supervisee in skill attainment and enhancement. 

 
 

Attending to Counselor Development within the Clinical Supervision Relationship

March 25 | 9am - 4pm | 6 Supervision CEU hours | Cost $100

This training will cover models of clinical supervision with a focus on counselor development. The course will include practice and application of supervision and learning models to enhance supervisee development. 

Management & Administrative Aspects of Clinical Supervision 

April 22 | 9am - 4pm | 6 Supervision CEU hours | Cost $100

This training will aid in developing appropriate processes & procedures related to management & administrative aspects of clinical supervision. Participants will practice appropriate documentation, reporting processes, & supervision skills that will enhance their ability to engage in the management & administrative aspects of clinical supervision. 

Legal, Ethical & Professional Responsibilities Related to Clinical Supervision 

May 20 | 9am - 4pm | 6 Supervision CEU hours | Cost $100

This training includes a review of the legal and ethical issues associated with clinical supervision. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the rules, laws, and ethics associated with the responsibility of clinical supervision.

Effectively Working with the LGBTQ Population

June 28 | 9am - 12:15pm | 3 CEU hours | Cost $60

The LGBTQ population is becoming more visible but many people have questions about LGBTQ people. This presentation will help attendees build cultural awareness and humility by understanding terminology, being exposed to LGBTQ culture, and assessing personal attitudes and how these attitudes impact work with this population. Attendees will gain awareness and insight into special issues specific to the LGBTQ population and appropriate treatment interventions, including creating a safe therapeutic space. No questions are off limits in this enlightening and eye-opening presentation.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a training that you have purchased, you can use your payment towards a future training. When a registrant chooses not to attend a training, refunds are not provided. In the instance that Recovery Resources cancels a training, you can choose to either use your payment towards a future training or receive a refund.
